With the trees I built it wasn't appropriate for them to be used in the model so I used paint effects and converted them to polygons at 5,000 each which was more usable.

modelling trees



I Modelled some trees but they were 50,000 polygons way to big for my scene as I need alot of them so they turned out to be a bit of modelling practice. I'm going to save it for future projects

New Grass



The new grass is made from textures because of the render time being so high, quite happy with the out come also theres a bump map.

Creating The Grass (Maya Fur)



First I tried to create the grass using maya fur which looked really nice but was crazy to render taking over an hour to render one frame and I couldnt get it to scale with the rest of the things, I didnt have time to waste with that.

Creation of the floor




The floor was created usng a scene grab from google maps and I traced the pathways onto a plane then divided into quads.

Idea Change

The idea to make the eiffel tower in the 1940's has been change, I'm going to base the tower in present day, there are more references to research from like google earth and street view, also the scale of the area of paris is not going to be as big as I perviously planned, it would take to long, so I'm going to concentrate on just the park area at the base of the tower.
